• Bishop Edward Malesic celebrated Mass followed by a luncheon on April 25 at the Center for Pastoral Leadership for 78 brothers, sisters and priests who are vowed members of religious communities in the diocese. Auxiliary Bishop Michael Woost concelebrated the liturgy and joined the group at lunch. The jubilarians celebrated the 85th, 80th, 75th, 70th, 65th, 60th, 50th and 25th anniversaries of making their vows.
• The bishop celebrated a Mass on May 5 in St. Basil the Great Church in Brecksville for 52 permanent deacons celebrating the 45th, 40th, 35th, 30th, 25th, 20th and 10th anniversaries of their ordination.
• On May 19, also in St. Basil the Great Church, Bishop Malesic celebrated Mass for the 30 diocesan priests who are celebrating the 70th, 60th, 50th, 40th and 25th anniversaries of their ordination.
